Here is a new blog entry - Blog #3.
Jesus is metaphorically compared to many types of good trees – olive trees, the cedars of Lebanon, the fig tree, the mustard tree, the tree of life. Amazingly, there are few who see those tree metaphors for what they are, but are transfixed upon the tree metaphor of the cross. Although this tree metaphor is a powerful symbol of redemption, it is the metaphor that was chosen by man because of the dark ages of men’s minds.
Just as the cruel and torturous method of crucifixion was employed by men because of their ignorance (for we know that if the princes of this world had known who Jewsus Christ was, they would not have crucified the King of Glory)
Man seems to be fixed on The fig tree putteth forth her green figs from her branches
Jesus was crucified in a place called the Skull along with common criminals of the day. This fixation that people have upon the cross - its almost as if people desire to crucify Christ afresh, subjecting Him to a public disgrace. If only man could see the cross as the Manifester clearly sees the cross, as Christ and God I Am saw the cross for what it truly was, the multitude of all good trees, including the tree of life.
When Jesus spread his arms upon the cross, it was as if he were reaching out with his arms and hands to the multitudes to forgive and to heal them. It was a great sign of His blessing upon mankind, regardless of their ignorance and misunderstanding of who he truly was. It was as if he were saying, do not look upon this cruel instrument of torture and death, but look upon me as the BRANCH, the tree of all good things spreading forth its branches. This is what I believe the Manifester is seeing and as well all true believers should see when they look upon the crucifixion.
